Montecristo Golf Cup

The fourth edition of the Montecristo Golf Cup, held April 19-21, 2012 at the Varadero Golf Club in Cuba’s Varadero, was no doubt a moment to feast eyes on.

This year the Montecristo Golf Cup gathered a hundred players from different countries and doled out prizes in a number of categories, in which the Montecristo Cup, by far the most coveted prize up for grabs, went to Canada’s Jim Howars.

Wide Churchills Romeo y Julieta

A pouch containing three Wide Churchills, the much-acclaimed new vitola rolled out by the Romeo y Julieta brand, is now available for smokers in the Casa del Habano network around the world.

Its special sizes –unique for this vitola- make the Wide Churchills a particularly luring habano for those smokers who love puffing on thick ring gauge cigars boasting a well-balanced and aromatic blend.

Quintero Favoritos

Favoritos (Ring gauge 50 x 115 mm long) is the name handpicked for this new vitola that joins the vitola stock of this historic mild taste brand.

Master Blender

Supplying the workshops with the adequate amounts of leaves depending on each and every brand, acting like a guardian of quality and the characteristics of each Habano based on its taste, scent and strength, is the main task of the Master Blender, a similarly historic architect of the recipes, proportions and mixtures that single out each reference within all of the company’s specific vitola stocks or just when it comes to making new products.

Habanos & Oporto

Centuries-old histories, denominations of origins, land and tradition as backdrop are some of the common things shared by these products that met at the 14th Habano Festival to close a promising alliance and serve as another expression of the exchanges that began in the wake of that faraway encounter –still unfinished- between Europeans and Cuba’s tobacco 520 year ago.
