100 Percent Made in Cuba

Within the framework of the 33rd Havana International Fair, Habanos, S.A. launched its brand-new and prestigious line of Habanos Añejados, products that have been zealously stored for 5 to 8 years in perfect preservation conditions, a measure that has helped them gain nuances and complexity without losing their original organoleptic characteristics.

The rollout was carried out as part of the promotional event for “Made in Cuba” Cuban exportable goods, one of the most outstanding developments during day three of FIHAV 2015.

Habanos S.A. shed light on two of its most special products before an audience that featured such boldface names as Mrs. Ileana Nuñez Mordoche, vice minister of Foreign Trade and Investment, and Mr. Orlando Hernandez Guillen, president of the Chamber of Commerce.

This exclusive and unique concept of Añejados (Aged) has been put on the map with two world-class launches: Romeo y Julieta Pirámides Añejados and Montecristo Churchills. These two vitolas are new in their respective brands and come packed in special editions churned out in limited numbers.

The event encouraged entrepreneurs from over 70 countries and it showed the island’s potential to provide high-quality and value-added offers. Habanos is undoubtedly a leading company in this area.

“Made in Cuba” intends to attract foreign investors interested in establishing industrial plants and production connections aimed at enhancing exportations.

Moreover, products from such companies as Cubaron, Havana Club Internacional, Internacional Cubana de Tabacos, BRASCUBA Cigarrillos S.A., Caribex, Los Portales S.A., Stella, CIMEX,  EGREM, Artex and Cubaexport, were exhibited at Don Cuba restaurant, in Expocuba fairground, which was also attended by heads of official delegations, entrepreneurs, promoters of trade and investment.
