Aged Romeo y Julieta Pirámides

The habano, like Cuba’s renowned light rum, wines and many other drinks, get a number of shades when they have been aged for a while. The 17th edition of the Habano Festival has made special room for this concept that has hit the market recently and is already sweeping the most curious and demanding people off their feet.

The first-ever presentation of the Romeo y Julieta Pirámides Añejados is putting on the world market a habano that has been aged in Cuban warehouses for a timespan of five to eight years.

This condition, though, has nothing to do with the aging of the tobacco leaves, but with the period of time the habano has been preserved, under perfect temperature and humidity conditions, from the moment it was rolled in the cigar factory to the time to puff on it. The time elapsed from the moment the habano was put inside the box provides a more refined smoke and a more complex scent, yet without having the habano lose its initial organoleptic features.

Romeo y Julieta Pirámides Añejados (ring gauge 52 x 156 mm long) comes in a Special Edition of limited quantities and in a one-and-only launch. This product is twice as much trendy due to both the aging process and the unveiling of a nonexistent format within the two brand’s regular portfolio, similar to the Montecristo Churchills Añejado.
