Cigar Chile Celebrates the Launch of Montecristo’s Línea 1935

Habanos Montecristo’s Línea 1935 was unveiled in Chile within the framework of an event that had plenty of surprises and important guests. Prestigious Cumarú Restaurant hosted the launching of Montecristo’s most premium Línea, which introduced three strong-taste vitolas, two of them are unprecedented vitolas within the brand’s portfolio. Dumas: Ring Gauge 49 x 130mm (Prominente Corto); Maltés: Ring Gauge 53 x 153mm (Sobresalientes) and Leyenda: Ring Gauge 55 x 165mm (Maravillas No2, the same vitola of Montecristo 80 Aniversario).

The event kicked off with attendees smoking a classic Montecristo No 4, one of the best-selling vitolas in history, accompanied by a group of cocktails that were prepared by Macarena Tugas, ambassador of Jack Daniel’s. The mouth-watering menu offered by Cumarú included its flagship dish, roast strips cooked for 24 hours and dipped in Carmenere red wine, which was majestically accompanied by one of the greatest Chilean wines: Seña 2015, from Errázuriz Vineyard, winner of 100 points by James Suckling and described as the perfect wine. There is no better prelude to the triumphant entry of this magnificent habano: Montecristo 1935 Leyenda, a great ring gauge 55 x 165 mm vitola that amazed everybody with its intense taste and elegant aroma.

Jack Daniel’s Sinatra was designated to accompany this amazing vitola, a superb pairing to honor two celebrities.
