Quintero Favoritos Caja

Favoritos (Ring gauge 50 x 115 mm long) is the name handpicked for this new vitola that joins the vitola stock of this historic mild taste brand. Quintero is, among Habanos’ 27 brands, an interesting one since it wasn’t created in Havana, but in Cienfuegos, a beautiful city also known as the South Pearl.

This brand’s Habanos are made with leaves from Vuelta Abajo (D.O.P.)* and Semi Vuelta zones, located in the tobacco region of Pinar del Rio (D.O.P.)* and they are pretty-well known due to the characteristic middle strength.

Quintero Habanos are “totally hand-rolled”, by using the “Short filler” technique.

The “totally hand-rolled short filler” technique, although it is less used than the one in Habanos’ acclaimed brands, is recognized by the Regulating Council of Habanos Protected Denomination of Origin (D.O.P.) as another Habano-making technique.

To make a blend for this kind of Habano, the cigar maker combines leaves that have been cut into pieces; then rolls up the filler into the binder by using a flexible cloth to make a firm bonche. The wrapper is manually placed in the traditional way.

Quintero Favoritos is a new vitola (Ring gauge 50 x 115 mm length) that follows the trend formats of recent years. It is ideal for those who enjoy the mild-strong taste of Habanosmade with Short Filler.

Favoritos will be launched for sale in international markets within a few weeks with its 25-unit presentation.

Further on, it will be launched in 5-unit pouches.
