Habanos S.A. attended the 27th edition of the International Tax Free World Association Exhibition that stretched out Oct. 20-25 at the Palais des Festivals, in Cannes, France.


The Cannes-based weeklong event is a mandatory appointment in the duty free and travel retail segment that this time around lured airlines, cruise liners, airports, as well as world-class duty free dealers and travel retailers.


The booth set up by Habanos S.A. showcased a selection of the most emblematic items launched in 2013, including the Montecristo Double Edmundo, a new vitola within the Edmundo Line, and the Montecristo Petit No. 2, a figurado that has eventually enhanced the brand’s rich classic line history.


Guests also took a firsthand glimpse at the 2013 Limited Editions by the hand of the Romeo y Julieta Romeo de Luxe, Hoyo de Monterrey Grand Epicure and Punch Serie D’Oro No.2.


In the same breath, the Partagás Lusitanias Gran Reserva Cosecha 2007 also garnered great acclaim and became one of the most sought-after products offered by Habanos S.A. during the Cannes Festival.


Habanos S.A. also organized a gala dinner at the prestigious Baoli Restaurant in which guests reveled in this year’s celebration dedicated to the Montecristo brand and its two new vitolas: the Montecristo Double Edmundo and Petit No. 2. The function was attended by exclusive Habano dealers and distributors, journalists and major duty free operators from around the world.
