Santiago de Cuba now has a new Casa del Habano, recently opened at the Meliá Santiago Hotel as part of the celebrations for the city’s 500th birthday.

Local authorities, artists and intellectuals attended the ribbon-cutting ceremony. What’s more, the ceremony was also attended by Mr. Nestor Valera, director of La Casa del Habano with Habanos S.A.

Prestigious brands like Cohiba, Partagas, Montecristo, Romeo y Julieta, Trinidad, Hoyo de Monterrey, H. Upmann, Bolivar and others will be on sale in this Casa del Habano. Like in all other establishments within this franchise network worldwide, the new Casa is outfitted with high quality and conservation standards in a bid to let customers revel in the most legitimate taste and scent habanos have to offer, coupled with cocktails, coffee and a number of liquors dished out in any of its halls.
