 In this 20th edition, the Habano brands that will be basking in the limelight are Cohiba –the elite Habano brand- that will roll out its first-ever reserve –Cosecha 2014; Partagas with its Linea Maduro, which has had great acclaim since its opening launch in 2015 and that this time around will feature new vitolas.

What’s more, many initiatives that have given this annual event a good name and that have had tremendous acclaim among festival attendees through the years will be back: the visits to the tobacco plantations in Vuelta Abajo, the tours around the celebrated cigar factories, the international seminar that will feature attractive lectures and practical sessions, the Habanos Alliance, the International Habano sommelier Contest and the World Challenge Habanos Contest, which will have its big break in 2018.

The 20th Habano Festival will come to a close on March 2 with a glamourous gala and the traditional auction of humidors built by seasoned Cuban craftsmen. The funds raised in this auction are entirely donated to Cuba’s Public Healthcare System.
