Hunters & Frankau, in collaboration with Habanos S.A, hosted the world launch of Cohiba Talismán in London on November 7, at Corinthia Hotel.

The ceremony was attended by guests from around the world, including Habanos Distributors and owners of Casas del Habano in other territories, who gathered to witness the launching of Cohiba’s latest Edición Limitada.

The list of attendees also included Cuba’s Ambassador to the United Kingdom, Mrs. Teresita Vicente Sotolongo, Mr. Manuel Marrero, Cuba’s Minister of Tourism, Leopoldo Cintra Gonzalez, Jose Maria Inchaurbe, Marketing and Development Vice-president of Habanos S.A, respectively, and Rodi Manuel Valdas, Vice-president of Tabacuba.

As one of the most interesting elements, the evening featured Habanos’ exhibit entitled  "Cohiba – The Great Collection”, which showed some of the previous cigars put out by the brand with decades of aging and the most prestigious humidors made for Cohiba’s anniversaries.

Another important moment was delivered by the draw of the first box of Cohiba Talismán made by El Laguito Factory. The profits were totally donated to help the victims of hurricane Irma in Cuba. Over 10,000 pounds were raised.

As part of the event, artist Harriet Brocket unveiled her latest photography collection, "Cuba", thus bringing the touch of Havana’s colors into the British evening.

Cohiba Talismán was paired with Ruinart Blanc Champagne and three cocktails that were specifically designed to complement the taste of Cohiba Talismán limited edition.

Matthieu de Gottal put on the table a selection of fine chocolates that were exclusively created for the event. Dalmore Whisky, Havana Club, Henessey XC Cognac and Difference Coffee Co. were also available for the attendees.

Cohiba Talismán (ring gauge 54 x 154 mm long) is a thick Habano, in line with the brand’s latest products. With a mild-to-strong taste, a characteristic element in the Línea Clásica’s blend, it stands out for its elegant and peculiar “pigtail” finish. Since it is an Edición Limitada, the leaves have undergone a two-year aging process, which gives this extraordinary Habano a complex and highly aromatic character.
