When it comes to making Habanos, leaves hailing from this region –home to the world’s best black tobacco and the only one which produces all leaves for filler, binder and wrapper- are basically used. And this is owed to the exceptional properties of its soils, special climatic conditions and the deep-rooted planting traditions of its population, which have been handed down from generations to generations.
The 20th edition of the Encuentro de Clientes y Amigos de Partagás will be held from 15th to 19th of November, 2010. The event, which is organized by the La Casa del Habano Partagás includes a welcome night as well as visits to tourist places and a Gala dinner as a farewell for smokers. In this occasion, there’s another reason to celebrate: The 165th anniversary of the Partagás factory.
A new local of La Casa del Habano has been launched by DGR Cigars, S.A. de C.V. in Cozumel, Mexico.

Under the pretext of launching the Cohiba Behike line –the most exclusive Habanos S.A. has ever rolled out- the El Laguito cigar factory was one of the meeting grounds for the lucky attendants to the 12th Habano Festival for they had the chance of seeing the rollers of Cohiba Behike, the most exclusive habano line that will be puffed on for the first time ever at the Closing Dinner.
