Tonight at the 12^th Habano Festival’s Gala Dinner, the traditional Habano of the Year Awards will be handed out in recognition to those personalities whose public actions in favor of habanos have been significant either national or internationally in the Business, Communication and Production categories.

The tertiary aromas of habanos get increasingly entrenched when there’s a fermenting and aging process thoroughly developed, like the one followed in the making of Cuban premium cigars.

Havana Club, Armagnac and Bodegas Torres shared the spotlight with some of Habanos S.A.’s brands and vitolas in this tasting session.

Makers and suppliers from the tobacco industry, together with artists and other creators from seven countries, are showcasing their own in 53 booths.

The 12th Habano Festival kicked off with a cultural gala at the Havana Grand Theater and the unveiling of the new shining stars of the vitola portfolio.

The twelfth edition of the Habanos Festival will take place from 22 to 26 February in Havana (Cuba). Around a thousand privileged cigar enthusiasts from over 70 countries will have the chance to attend the tobacco world's most important event, to see and try for themselves Habanos s.a.’s new launches for 2010.
