Habanos Academy’s First Junior Course in Venezuela
The first junior course by the Habanos Academy unfolded on June 2 at the Casa Quinta Santa Ana in Prados del Este, planned by the Grupo Verilux, exclusive distributor of habanos in Venezuela.
The event was attended by some 20 people who had the opportunity of enhancing and delving deeper into the knowledge of habanos.
In a cozy and friendly atmosphere, Carlos Lander and Jose Pereira, a couple of Master Trainers within the Academy, shared their knowledge on a diversity of topics in the habano realm.
Attendees appreciated the opportunity offered by the Grupo Verilux, exclusive habano distributor in Venezuela, to provide specialized information on the world’s best tobacco, let alone the chance to puff on such flagship brands as Montecristo and Partagas.
The activity came to a close with the handing of certificates and a pairing between a Montecristo No. 2 and a distilled beverage, courtesy of Distribuidora Tamayo & Cia, as well as with a desire to launch new editions and organize the first senior course as the next step into the training process.
The Habanos Academy is a training system promoted by Habanos S.A. with a goal to spread uniform and coherent information on habanos, train genuine promoters of the product’s culture around the world, and strengthen the knowledge on habanos among the lovers of the globe’s best tobacco.
The Habano Academy is aimed at providing specialized training for people whose jobs are directly linked to the marketing of habanos, especially exclusive distributors worldwide.
The training system consists of three levels: junior, senior and master courses, told apart by the topics and knowledge tackled in each and every one of them.
