Habanos S.A at FIHAV 2013

Once again Habanos S.A. attended the latest edition of the Havana International Fair (FIHAV 2013) with a selection of its products, penciled in as the world’s finest cigars due to their quality, a condition resulting from a triple combination of soils, climate and the experience of seasoned tobacco planters.

The booth set up by Habanos S.A. gave visitors the opportunity to feast eyes on a selection of the company’s most representative products, especially the proposals for 2013, like the Montecristo Double Edmundo –the new vitola within the Edmundo line- and the Montecristo Petit No.2, a figurado that comes to enrich the brand’s classic line.

The greatest attraction, though, was the Cohíba Pirámides Extra, the latest vitola by this flagship brand unveiled as part of the Classic Line and stocked in the world market for a number of months now. The new vitola has reaped tremendous acclaim, featuring a new band and a black tube casing.

The company also showcased the Partagás Gran Reserva Cosecha 2007, with the emblematic Lusitanias vitola, handpicked for the brand’s first Grand Reserve.

The 2013 Lusitanias Limited Editions also got media hype during the fair, with Romeo de Luxe, Hoyo de Monterrey Grand Epicure and Punch Serie D’Oro No.2.

Other Habanos designed for the franchised Casa del Habano network, such as Hoyo de Monterrey Epicure de Luxe, struck the attention of visitors and businesspeople hailing from 65 nations.

During the international fair, Habanos S.A. brought in a cigar roller who skillfully showed attendees the art of making a top-quality Habano.
