Habanos S.A. Introduces Hoyo de Monterrey’s Ley Hoyo de Rio Seco in Lebanon

Habanos, S.A., through its Exclusive Distributor for the Middle East, Phenicia T.A.A. Cyprus LTD, launched the world premiere of Le Hoyo de Río Seco by the Hoyo de Monterrey brand. Le Hoyo de Río Seco is a new thick ring-gauge vitola that joins the Le Hoyo Series, thus enhancing this historic line of Habanos and its range of large sizes, which to date did not have much presence. Like the other vitolas by the Hoyo de Monterrey brand, Le Hoyo de Río Seco is also totally made by hand with long filler by seasoned Cuban cigar rollers.

 

This new launch comes in a very attractive option for lovers of delicate and aromatic Habanos that are not that strong to the taste. In addition, it stands out for its complex character, resulting in a vitola of great elegance. It was presented in the classic Monterrey sliding box of 25 and 10 units, which eventually adds punch to the brand’s new image.

 

For its part, the Le Hoyo series is one of the historically well-known cigars due to its thin and medium gauge sizes. In this sense, the new Le Hoyo de Rio Seco vitola is the second thick ring-gauge Habano added to the series.

 

The event took place on September 29 at Laguava Resort in Rymayleh, Lebanon, with an attendance of some 600 guests. During the evening, fans of the world’s best cigars could taste this new thing called Le Hoyo de Río Seco, let alone revel in many other surprises, such as a jazz band, booths set up by a selection of luxury partners, and live cooking stations.

 

The Hoyo de Río Seco (ring gauge 56 x 140 mm long) will be sold exclusively at the international network of stores under the La Casa del Habano franchise, with more than 25 years of existence. These are boutiques specialized in the sale of Habanos, with the best service and advice money can buy, and where lovers of good smoking can purchase and puff on the world’s finest cigars, plus an array of the most innovative cases and items related to this exclusive product. Currently, this network already boasts over 145 luxury stores in as many as 65 countries.

 

The origin of the Hoyo de Monterrey brand stems from the like-name plantation perched on the area of ​​San Juan y Martínez*, in the heart of the Vuelta Abajo* region. The Hoyo de Monterrey plantation is one of the most famous and is known for the inscription tacked on the entrance gateway: “Hoyo de Monterrey, José Gener 1860”.
