Within the framework of the 35th edition of Havana’s International Fair (FIHAV 2017), Habanos, S.A launched its latest gem: Línea Retro, which came out with two benchmark products, Partagás Capitols and Romeo y Julieta Club Kings. This is a highly attractive and modern proposal for consumers, with an undeniable retro appeal in terms of its design.

The brand-new Línea Retro stands out for its presentation in a metallic box, with a gorgeous design inspired by those original pocket cases that became popular in the 1970s. These pieces are highly coveted and valued by collectors around the world.

The pouches of Partagás Capitols and Romeo y Julieta Club Kings feature a technical design that has been exclusively developed for Habanos, S.A. and it will be only used in Línea Retro’s products.

Each pouch packs 5 Mareva factory vitola Habanos (ring gauge 42 x 129 mm). Mareva is likely to be the most popular format throughout the history of Habanos and its sizes have been labeled a “standard” if compared to the rest of formats. With Partagás Capitols, Partagás brings Mareva back into the brand’s regular portfolio.

Línea Retro joins Habanos’ portfolio in a bid to introduce this concept in other brands.

Besides Línea Retro, with Partagás Capitols and Romeo y Julieta Club Kings, Habanos, S.A. also displayed several iconic products and the 2017 releases during the fair. Among the main Habanos launched this year, it is important to highlight: H. Upmann Sir Winston Gran Reserva 2011, Montecristo’s Línea 1935, with three vitolas Maltés (53 x 153 mm), Dumas (49 x 130 mm) and Leyenda (55 x 165 mm); Quai D’Orsay and new vitolas No. 50 (50 x 110 mm) and No. 54 (54 x 140 mm), new Romeo y Julieta Petit Royales (47 x 95 mm); Ediciones Limitadas 2017: Cohiba Talismán (54 x 154 mm), Partagás Series No. 1 (52 x 138 mm) and Punch Regios de Punch (49 x 120 mm).
