Junior Course Given at Montreal International Airport

December was a special month for Habanos in Canada, since it comprised a session of the Junior Course given by the Habanos Academy at the Montreal International Airport, where Antonio Marsillo, who runs La Casa Del Habano Montreal –he graduated from the Habanos Academy’s Master Course- represented the franchised store chain and gave a master class for members of the sales team of duty free stores at this airport.

The training included an explanation on several steps of the Habano making process, from seedbeds in Pinar del Rio to different factories in Havana. Furthermore, Mr. Marsillo explained the reason why Habanos are labeled the best cigars under the sun among enthusiasts of the field.

Taking into account that clients at airport stores are travelers, a part of the training was focused on how to preserve Habanos during their flights, as well as how to meet the preferences and needs of different customers. Each participant was given a copy of the book entitled "The Habano World".

With this course, as well as the rest of them given around the world, the Habanos Academy proudly increases the number of cigar buffs that help foster and spread out the passion for Habanos.
