Habanos, S.A., together with its distributor for Asia Pacific, The Pacific Cigar Co, LTD, launched Trinidad La Trova (52 x 166mm), a brand-new and exclusive product that has been specifically designed for the network of specialized stores under La Casa del Habano franchise.

Trinidad La Trova (52 x 166mm) is ‘Totally Rolled by Hand with Long Filler’, using leaves from the most internationally acclaimed tobacco growing region, Vuelta Abajo*, in Pinar del Río*, Cuba*. Cuban expert cigar makers do their best to deliver a high-quality product that pleases the most demanding Habano smokers.

Trinidad is a brand that pays tribute to the Holy Trinity town, a peculiar place nestled in the south coast of Cuba and declared Mankind Heritage by UNESCO. Smokers from every corner of earth have enjoyed limited editions of this brand since 1998. Trinidad later changed its brand image in a bid to bring it up to date, in line with the extraordinary quality of its Habanos. Its making process presently takes place at Francisco Donatién Factory, in Pinar del Río*, which stands out for producing the best cigar on the face of earth.

This new product is an unprecedented vitola in the brand, (“Cañonazo Especial”) although it was used back in 2011 in an Edición Limitada, Cohiba 1966. With this world launching, the Trinidad brand keeps on boosting its thick Habanos range, thus joining its two previous proposals: Trinidad Vigía (54 x 110mm) and Trinidad Topes Edición Limitada (56 x 125mm).

This launch is part of Habanos, S.A.’s strategy of annually offering new products that are exclusively available at La Casa del Habano, the store network specialized in marketing Habanos. These premises offer the most select smokers the possibility to enjoy everything related to these prestigious cigars, since they provide the best service and customized attention when acquiring and tasting Habanos, as well as elegant meeting spaces. Nowadays, there are over 145 of these deluxe stores in 65 countries.

The world launching of Trinidad La Trova (52 x 166mm) is set to take place in 8 premises at the same time: seven Casas del Habano based in Bangkok and Chiang Mai, in Thailand; Hong Kong, Macao and Taipei, in China; Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia; and Tokyo in Japan. Moreover, Bangkok’s Cohiba Atmosphere will also host the launch.
