Viña Santa Carolina's Habanos & Wines, A Blend for the Senses

The 20th edition of the Festival highlights Habanos as a symbol of tradition and exclusiveness, since the best premium cigars have captivated men and women worldwide for centuries, who prefer their originality, exquisiteness and aromatic texture, so they can be perfectly paired with wines and spirits.

A blend of tastes, smells and senses took center stage on Thursday in the cult to quality and luxury with a pairing between Romeo y Julieta Wide Churchills and two Viña Santa Carolina wines, from Chile.

Reservas de Familia (Cabernet Sauvignon and Carmenere) were in charge of livening up the moment, since they are one of the most important Chilean brands, with 20 million bottle produced on an annual basis since 1875.

The event was headed by Nestor Varela, Director of Casa del Habano franchise, and Victor Aguilera, Specialist from Casa del Habano. It was also attended by the ambassadors of Chile and Mexico to Cuba, Ricardo Herrera and Enrique Martinez, respectively. This special pairing was guided by Juan Jesus Machin, Habanosommelier World Champion and winner of the Habanossommelier Master of Masters Contest.
